As part of series of di Media Epidemiology Infodemiology and Social and Behavior Change Risk Communication Fellowship for group one, organised by National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) with support from Breakthrough-Action Nigeria, United States Agency for International Development, plus di African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET),a six-day training tagged “track one : Basic Epidemiology” don  begin for di thirty (30) journalists.

Di training wey dey happen for AFENET Office,  Abuja Nigeria, bring together journalists, body matter sabinus, and government officials from di NCDC,African Centre for Disease Control Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, Federal Ministry of Environment to yan di important wey ogbonge report as e take concern health dey for media

Dr. Adetifa come draw di participants attention to how important correct report dey as e take concern public awareness and how people dey take make decision wey concern healthcare services plus di need make media and health sector dey work togeda for correct informate to dey reach people.

For her  address, Dr. Ndadlilnasiya Endie Wazir, wey be di representative of di regional coordinator of  AFENET talk say di program na ogbonge opportunity for journalists to take become sabi people for  public health matters and to take sabi how to dey tell correct tori to di public.

Also, Mr. Ahaziah Abubakar Suleiman, wey represent di Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria tell participants say dem select dem from plenty plenty other people wey bin apply for di fellowship from different part of Nigeria so make dem dey put their mind inside make dem fit make betta change for di health sector and health reporting.

“Dis Fellowship na di first kain around di world ,take am very serious. One of di  advantage of dis programme be say una go become poll of reporters and producers wey go join body togeda to dey check correct informate wey concern health“.

Him come carry plenty tuale sama di organizers for selecting  seventeen broadcasters from BON out of di thirty  journalists, Mr. Ahahzia say na BON be di koko beneficiaries  of di Fellowship.
