Di report tok say 390 women fit dey kpai for every 100,000 live births by 2030 and di number dey 5 times more than di 70 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births wey di 2030 Sustainable Development Goals target and way higher than di average of 13 deaths per 100,000 live births wey happen for Europe 2017.
Di report still tok say if Africa go reach di SDG target, dem go need to reduce di number by 86 percent from di one wey dey for 2017.
Report also show say di number of pikin wey dey kpai for birth for sub-Saharan region dey for 72 per 1,000 live births as e dey go down by 3.1 percent every year and like this, e fit drop to 54 deaths per 1,000 live births by 2030, even tho di figure still dey higher than di 25 per 1,000 live births wey dem dey target.
Even tho di figures dey worry person, di report show say Africa don do better for other different areas like Under-five mortality wey fall by 35 per cent; neonatal death rates wey drop by 21 per cent, and maternal mortality wey reduce by 28 per cent but in the last decade.
