Dem give di alert with No. 040/2022 and na di NAFDAC Director-General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye been release di statement.
Dem reveal for di statement say di cough syrups na Promethazine Oral Solution, Kofexmalin Baby Cough Syrup, Makoff Baby Cough Syrup, and Magrip N Cold Syrup and make naija people avoid dem because dem don already cause death of 66 children for Gambia as di WHO take report for September 2022.
She still point out say some lab tests don show say di products get plenty diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol wey no dey okay. And e be like say people don distribute di products through black market to other countries so make everybody shine dia eyes.
Adeyeye come warn importers, distributors, retailers and consumers make dem shine eyes well well to avoid bringing di goods to di countries and make di ones wey don get am already submit dia own to di NAFDAC office wey dey close to dem.
