Di World Health Organisation don warn on Friday say cholera infections don dey increase for di world and e dey worry dem well well.

WHO reveal say 26 countries been report cholera outbreaks for di first 9 months for dis year alone but between 2017 and 2021, less than 20 nations been report di outbreak per year.

Philippe Barboza, di WHO’s team lead for cholera and epidemic diarrheal diseases been yan to reporters inside Geneva say average case for fatality report inside 2021 na almost triple of wetin been dey for di previous five years.

Barboza reveal say apart from normal traditional palava wey dey bring cholera such as poverty and conflict, climate change na another big part wey dey increase everyday.

WHO come add say dem no get number of people wey don kpai from cholera because di countries wey e dey happen to, no dey bring report.

Barboza come point out say vaccines no really dey because dem an dey far ahead of supply even tho, dem still get few million doses wey dem go use before di end of di year but dem still need more vaccines so dem go fit start preventative vaccination campaigns.

He still point out say di main palava be say na only one manufacturer dey produce di cholera vaccines because as some companies see say na dem go dey fund di production, dey no go like put hand.
