Members wey dey di House for di plenary on Thursday, come agree to motion wey Dachung Bagos move as him tok day di virus fit enter naija as other African countries don dey record new cases and him title am ‘Motion of Urgent Public Importance on the Need for Federal Government to Activate Response against the Possible Detection of Ebola in Nigeria.’
Bagos come point out say health authorities for Uganda don announce Ebola outbreak wey Sudan Virus cause for September 20, 2022, after dem do lab test confam say one person wey come from village inside Madudu sub-county, Mubende District, Central Uganda carry am.
Bagos still point out say World Health Organisation don show worry because vaccines wey get license no dey and even things dem go use to prevent, still treat di Sudan Virus no dey, so e fit cause serious public health problem.
Di lawmakers also command di Nigeria Centre for Disease Control make dem make sure say dem put eye for ground, dey check passengers well especially di ones wey come from di countries wey don already get di virus and also make di NCDC set up national response team wey go control di virus if e just commit head, so naija people no go suffer another pandemic.
