Di second in command Director and Oga of Treatment, Care and Support, National AIDS/STIs Control Programme, Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Clement Adesigbin talk dis one for the 2nd scientific roundtable series wey Centre for Integrated Health Programmes been organise for inside Abuja.
Dr. Adesigbin, talk say Naija don do very well for the way wey dem take handle HIV and that now people wey dey infected with HIV na like 1.3 percent and since e dey hard to find dem inside the 200 million naija people wey dey, dem need to do more modern things.
Di doc also talk say di real problem for them na the HIV transfer from mama to pikin. E talk say some countries like Rwanda Don comot that transfer completely but Naija never reach that level and na why dem dey do everything wey dem fit make children no dey get HIV because say their mama get am.
Di Oga kpata kpata wey be di Chief Executive Officer of Centre for Integrated Health Programmes, Dr. Bolanle Oyelodun come talk say dia people dey work with the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief and dem dey use Centre for Disease Control and Prevention to handle dis HIV challenges wey dey we country.
