Dr Ehanire talk say na dirty water and dirty behaviour dey bring sickness come because some diseases like malaria, diarrhoea, pneumonia, and bacterial infections sef dey spread through water and dem alone be like 60 per cent of disease wey children wey never reach 5 years dey suffer.
The minister still come talk say na this dirty water and dirty behaviour dey make people dey travel make dem go treat their self and e go stop if all hospitals both Primary healthcare centres and tertiary health centres go start to dey follow guidelines wey dem don list for WASH.
Director wey dey di Food and Drug Services Department, Mrs. Olubunmi Aribeana, talk her own say one of dia goal na to make sure say WASH service dey work for healthcare facilities for naija and e go make sure say the Healthcare sector dey better.
Aribeana still talk say WASH no go be for hospital and Healthcare centres alone but e go also dey for homes so everybody go fit dey protect theirself.
Chief wey dey see say WASH dey for UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Ms Jane Bevan, also dey di event and she talk say dey go definitely reach their WASH goal by 2025.She talk say UNICEF stand with dem gidigba and dem no go rest till dem reach día target.
