Them talk am for the statement wey the students’ body been release, signed by their National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Azeez Adeyemi for Abeokuta.
According to NANS, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq’s announcement say Federal Government go continue with the school feeding programme even as schools don shutdown, na akanuche wey them wan use chop Nigeria money.
Say, “Where is the money wey them wan use run this programme go come from, wey government dey cry say money no dey? NANS ask say where them go get the money, wey them propose say them go use N697million daily to feed children, that is N13.5billion monthly ontop the programme.
Them describe the decision as not only “reckless spending, but also misplaced priority.”
