One happen just yesterday for Asaba Delta State wey the Police no gree allow one Dr Joseph Ajanwenyi (resident doctor for FMC Asaba) to go work for im hospital. Dr Ajanwenyi bin call the officials of Naija Medical Association (NMA) for Delta State to complain but the police spray dem tear gas when dem show face. The matter come make doctors for the state declare strike say make the police go dey treat patients as dem no wan allow dem do dia job. With the intervention of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the Delta Commissioner of Police, dem come arrest the bad police people and begged the doctors. We hear say they don call off the strike.
Another one bin happen for Ile-Ife Osun State on the 7th of April wey be World Health Day. The oga Medical Director of Judors Specialist Hospital Ile-Ife, Dr. Abiodun and im wife wey be doctor too na victims of assault and detention by the police with the help of Boys Scout. According to the tori wey the NMA Osun bin komot signed by the Seke – Dr. Taofeek Akinniyi, na the intervention of their association save the doctors from their hand as dem don even carry dem go court. We hear say the Commissioner of Police for Osun State, CP Johnson Kokumo don do kpelenu kpelenu to the doctors.
