The Imo State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) don confirm the arrest of one Uzochi Agbakwuru, wey be notorious drug dealer inside the state.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Uche Sampson talk this thing inside Owerri on Wednesday, say them arrest Agbakwuru on October 18 and him dey the agency custody.
Uche say the suspect, na from Umuemeri Ogwu, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo, and na notorious drug peddler.
Say the suspect don dey on NDLEA criminal watch list for over 18 months before them arrest am.
According to the statement, them catch am with 150 grammes of dried weeds wey them later confirm to be cannabis sativa.
The NDLEA spokesman say them arrest the suspect for him residence, where him even try to escape. Say the suspect been raise false alarm, he even call him criminal associates and sympathisers, wey later wan turn violent in order to obstruct NDLEA legitimate duty.
