Dr Adedeji Akinbo, wey be Consultant Cardiologist, with Alimosho General Hospital, Lagos, on Wednesday talk say better food, exercises and good sleep dey make heart function well.
Akinbo talk this thing when him yarn with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) inside Lagos, as them observe 2019 World Heart Day, wey them dey celebrate for the whole world on September 29.
NAN report say the UN set aside September 29, to cut cap for the heart, as ‘king’ organ of the body system. Them tag the 2019 celebration: “Your Heart, My Heart”.
Him say make we dey chop vegetables and fruits everyday, because heart need like 36 nutrients to tanda well, with at least 7-8 hours uninterrupted sleep. “chopping late in the night sev dey cause abdominal fat. Make we no dey chop food wey get plenty sodium chloride (salt), ahbi meat like ‘bokoto‘ wey dey person fat, fried poultry and beef. Food wey dey make person fat dey give heart wahala.
