Malam Mohammadu Bashiru, the District Head of Makwalla Kurmin Kaduna community inside Kaduna State, don beg the state government to build more Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) inside the area to handle the body-matta needs of the people.
Bashiru say building more PHCs inside communities across River Kaduna go reduce the rate at which pregnant women and small pikins dey die and other body-matta diseases wey the people dey suffer.
Him remember how pregnant women wey dey live for the other side of the river dey suffer as them dey enter canoes to cross the river so that them go fit access healthcare centres, say “some women lose their lives before them reach health centres”. “Most women dey take Okada from their village to the river bank before them enter canoes to cross the river”.
Him thank the state government for building 12 rooms Primary Health Care centre inside the area, but him say them never still finish am and the work don stop, him dey beg make the state government come complete the centre to help the people, say “if them complete the PHC, about 10 communities go benefit from am”.
